Ajay Bimbhet, Managing Director
Ajay comes on board with three decades of retail banking experience with majors such as ANZ Grindlays, Standard Chartered Bank, IDBI Bank and with Deutsche Bank, India. At Deutsche Bank, he was Managing Director and Head, Private and Business Clients. Earlier, at IDBI Bank, he was acting CEO and Country Head - Retail Banking.
In addition to Ajay’s in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Indian business scenario, he possesses a strong understanding of international business. Ajay completed his Post-Graduation from the Delhi School of Economics in 1976. He is credited with having made ANZ Grindlays’ international training centre, GRIT, a premier training school for bankers across South Asia.
At IDBI Bank, he joined as its very first Retail Bank employee and successfully launched its retail banking business from a scratch. He then moved to Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, which is respected as one of the oldest and largest banks in the UAE, as its Retail Banking head.
In his long and distinguished career in the corporate corridors, Ajay has earned a reputation as a People’s Man, and is admired for building and growing new businesses. Leading from the front and earning peer and people’s respect has been a recurring feature in his career. Delighting the customer is a yet another passion with him.
M S Sreedhar, Chief Operating Officer
Sreedhar is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Fellow Member of the Insurance Institute of India. He has more than two decades of rich experience in banking, insurance and asset management industry.
He started his career with a brief stint in the banking sector before joining United India Insurance Company in 1980 and later became the Investment Manager in Investment Department in the Corporate Office. He subsequently moved over to the General Insurance Corporation of India (1990 - 94). Before joining Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Sundaram Newton Asset Management Company.
G.C.Rangan, Senior Vice President, Motor-focussed Channel
Rangan, known for his perseverance and formidable marketing background, began his career in 1975 when he joined CARE Inc. (Cooperative for American Relief Everywhere), a US AID affiliated voluntary organization. In 1980, he moved to Voltas where he was responsible for marketing textiles and pharmaceutical products and implementing the company's retail promotions and providing marketing support to the network.
In 1986, he joined Sundaram Finance as Vice President, Operations. Between 2003 and 2006, Rangan was elevated as Director, Sundaram Finance Distribution Limited. He was responsible for establishing Sundaram Finance on the map of North India, in addition to being at the fore-front of creating 'Sundaram Direct'.
Ramkumar Krishnamachari, Chief Financial Officer
Ramkumar Krishnamachari is the Chief Financial Officer. Ram comes on board with 17 years experience in Finance and Accounting, partnering with CEOs to deliver sustainable shareholder value. In his earlier roles, Ram was CFO at First Indian Corporation, Reliance Capital and Morgan Stanley Advantage Services.
Ram also has significant experience overseas, having worked for Reuters & KPMG Consulting in New York. He brings with him rich experience of global financial markets and a strong understanding in the application of technology to various business processes. Ram is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, USA) with impressive academic and professional track record. He is a rank holding ACA and AICWA, apart from being a qualified CPA (Delaware, USA).
