



Claims procedure for Breakdown claims
- In the case of a Claim call us at 1860 425 0000or email to: customer.services@royalsundaram.in
- Royal Sundaram will send a claim form to you immediately.
- On receipt of the duly filled in claim form and the estimate of repairs, Royal Sundaram
will depute a Surveyor to assess the loss.
- The surveyor will assess the loss and give go ahead to the repair or replacement
- Once the repair/replacement is over, surveyor will visit again and confirm the repair
and submit his report to Royal Sundaram
- The insured submits the bills / receipts to the Company.
- Additional documents required, if any, will be called for.
- Net Liability will be arrived based on the surveyor''''s recommendation and other
deductible viz, depreciation, excess, salvage etc as per the policy condition
- Cheque will be despatched to you if the claim is admissible, otherwise a denial letter
will be sent.
- Please note that if repairs or replacement is carried out before our surveyor inspects
the items covered, no claim will be payable under the policy.
Claims procedure for Fire
- In the case of a Claim call us at 1860 425 0000or email to: customer.services@royalsundaram.in
- Royal Sundaram will appoint a surveyor to inspect the damaged item immediately on
intimation.
- Royal Sundaram will send a claim form to you immediately.
- Surveyor will assess the loss and give go ahead to the repair
- Insured to hand over the filled up claim form along with fire brigade report,
bills/receipts etc to the surveyor.
- Insured to also give any additional document sought by the surveyor
- Surveyor submits the report to Royal Sundaram.
- Company shall call for additional documents required, if any
- Net Liability will be arrived based on the surveyor''''s recommendation and other
deductible viz, depreciation, salvage, excess etc as per the policy conditions.
- Cheque will be despatched to you if the claim is admissible, otherwise a denial letter
will be sent.
- Please note that if repairs or replacement is carried out before our surveyor inspects

Claims procedure for Burglary
- In the case of a Claim call us at 1860 425 0000or email to: customer.services@royalsundaram.in
- File an FIR regarding the burglary immediately on notice of the same
- Royal Sundaram appoints a third party investigator to meet you to collect information/
records.
- Investigator meets the insured and collects information regarding values of items lost.
- Insured to submit the filled claim form along with details of items stolen
- Insured to obtain Non Traceable Certificate from Police and submit the same to Royal
Sundaram
- Claim will be scrutinized and additional documents required if any, will be called for.
- Cheque will be despatched to you if the claim is admissible, otherwise a denial letter
will be sent.
