Family Good Health

Family Good Health is a comprehensive Health Insurance Plan designed to offer complete protection to you and your family against sudden illness, accidents and unexpected hospitalization. Family Good Health is offered both as an Individual Plan and as a Floater Plan.

Who can be covered?

Cover yourself, your spouse, your dependent children above the age of 91 days up to 21 years and dependent parents up to the age of 50 years without documentation, up to 65 years with documentation. Renewals are accepted up to the age of 70 years.

You can buy this plan for 1 year or for 2 years. Choose a Sum Insured option between Rs 2 lakhs, Rs 3 lakhs, Rs 4 lakhs, and Rs. 5 lakhs.

Coverage options available under Family Good Health

This Health Insurance Plan gives you the flexibility to get cover both on an individual basis (self, spouse, parents) and as a family (including children).  There are two options available under this plan:

Individual Health Plan

You can buy this policy for up to 4 individual adults. Get cover for yourself, Spouse, Father and Mother under this policy. When you buy an individual health plan, you have the flexibility of choosing a separate Sum Insured for each individual depending on your need.

Family Floater Plan

If you want to cover yourself and your family members under a single plan, you should go for a Family Floater Plan. The Sum Insured is floater among family members.

What is covered?

1) Pre-hospitalization Expenses covered for 30 days prior to date of admission in a hospital.

2) In-patient hospitalization while being admitted into a hospital for a minimum period of 24 hours.

3) Post-hospitalization Expenses incurred within a period of 60 days after date of discharge.

4) Day Care Procedures that requires less than 24 hours of hospitalization.

5) Get Accident coverage from the day the policy is commenced.

6) Pre-existing disease covered after 48 months.
