Aria is Tata’s first ever mid-range Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) set to hit Indian roads this September. The new aria is outfitted with 2.2 lit Dicor engine that adds a maximum power of 140 ps and a maximum torque of 320nm. It is the same platform that powers the Tata Safari and Sumo Grande.
Priced between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, it will initially be released in 3 variants Tata Aria EX, GX and LX.
What sets it apart from a regular MUV apart from the power is its large muscular wheel, which gives it the
complete effect of an SUV.
- Built-in GPS system
- Multi-functioning steering wheel
- Dual Air Conditioner
- Automatic climate control
- 6 SRS Airbags
- ABS with ESP
- Alloy wheels
- Parking Sensors
- Tata Aria Engine Specifications
- Displacement : 2179cc, DICOR, 16 Valve DOHC
- Engine Type : Diesel
- Maximum Power : 140 bhp @ 4000 rpm
- Maximum Torque : 320 nm @ 1500 rpm
So, if your heart is wavering between an MUV and an SUV, TATA Aria could be a good choice, because once it is launched it is going give a tough competition to other MUVs and SUVs in the Indian Market.
