Diet: your best chance of preventing a stroke

Stroke is a rapidly growing health threat for middle-aged men and women. The most common kind of stroke is named “ischemic stroke”, which is caused by a block in an artery which delivers blood to the brain.

1. Say no to Na- Sodium

However, you should always consult your doctor to ensure whether aspirin is suitable for you.

4. Beans, beans, good for your heart…

Beans are not only beneficial for your heart, but they are even effective in guarding your brain. This is mostly for the reason that they are packed with the B vitamin folate (a.k.a. folic acid). A study spanning 20 years and of 10,000 adults, found that consuming a diet abundant with folate decreases the danger of a stroke by a whopping 20 percent!
