It is possible to make nearly every type of house hold cleaner out of common household ingredients. Here are some easy recipes

Sprinkle baking soda on sinks, counters or anywhere you need to get rid of stubborn stains

Mix 1 cup olive oil with ½ cup lemon juice and you have a furniture polish for your hardwood furniture

Dilute 3 tablespoons Ammonia and 1 tablespoon vinegar with water in a spray bottle and lo! your window cleaner is ready

Sprinkle some baking soda and lemon juice into your toilet. Scrub with toilet brush after a while to get a sparkling clean toilet

Make your own floor cleaner using 1 cup vinegar, ¼ cup washing soda, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil based soap, 2 gallon hot water

Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle baking soda on the cut section. Use the lemon to scrub dishes, surfaces, and stains
