You’ve prepared well for your well-deserved vacation, but then before you leave, you have to prepare your home for your homecoming. Because, returning home from a vacation can be quite a drag and stressful.
Here are few simple things you can do to make your home coming cheerful and stress free
It’s important to keep your bills up to date. You don’t want to worry about your credit card being rejected while you’re on vacation
Spend the last week to empty your refrigerator. Get rid of all the perishables
Keep the trash can empty, unless you want to come home to the smell of rotten food
Clean up the house before you leave – clean kitchen platform, clean toilets, clean bathroom. A messy house is the last thing you want to see after a lovely holiday
Finish the laundry. Don’t keep it pending till you come back. Because you will have to deal with a mountain of smelly clothes after your vacation
Unplug all electronics
Most importantly– keep your neighbours informed about your trip so that they keep a watch over your house and you come back to a safe home
