Shivmani Hospital is a 25-bedded hospital established in 1998 as Dr.Sanjay’s Child Care Centre. Since its humble beginnings as a nursing home the hospital has now grown to include several aspects of neo-natal and child care. The NICU has been upgraded to level III with the addition of 8 beds, 2 ventilators, LED Phototherapy and CPAP. The hospital has facilities for exchange transfusion and a 3-bedded ICU with advanced monitors. 

The hospital’s OPD includes services for general paediatrics & neonatology, general medicine, general surgery, paediatric surgery, chest & TB, neurosurgery, urology, and orthopedics. A dedicated laboratory offers services in hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, histopathology (biopsy), and cytology (FNAC). 

Shivmani Hospital has now joined hands with Royal Sundaram, an insurance company that offers comprehensive health care plans and health insurance options. A health insurance policy is an important financial safety net in medical emergencies. Royal Sundaram has a tie up with over 3000 hospitals across India that offer cashless treatments to the insured. The policy provides provisions for accident related hospitalization where the insured can claim up to an additional 50 percent of the sum insured. Insured individuals can also get cumulative bonus ranging from 5 to 50 percent for every claim-free year. Royal Sundaram has an array of health insurance plans with different premium options that cover pre and post hospitalization expenses, 147-day care procedures, maternity expenses and are tax-exempt under section 80 (D).
