Royal Sundaram, India’s first private General Insurance Company, in collaboration with Manipal Global Education (MaGE), is offering a one year Post Graduate Diploma that leads to an employment with Royal Sundaram in sales if you meet the requirements. Our aim is to provide you with an opportunity to receive a high quality education, while at the same time, advance your career in a rapidly growing General Insurance industry. Our affordable Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) allows you to pay for the course in the easiest and simple way. Successful candidates will be employed by Royal Sundaram and will be eligible for the reimbursement of the course fee at the end of successful completion of 3 years of continuous service with Royal Sundaram.


Your Customized Program

This is a collaborative initiative by Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited (Royal Sundaram) and Manipal Global. The customized program will be delivered by Manipal Global through a 12-month program for you post your selection by Royal Sundaram after an extensive process including a written test and interviews. You will be awarded a post graduate diploma by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) (Deemed to be University) on successful completion of this program. You will then be employed by Royal Sundaram on fulfilling the employment conditions.

Along with Manipal Global, we have specifically designed this program to equip you with the skills and capabilities that will enable you to reach responsible positions in the general insurance industry.



Your program fee would be Rs. 1,50,000/- Lakhs (One lakh fifty thousand rupees only) plus applicable taxes of 18% GST (amounting to Rs. 27,000/-) plus tab cost of 17,100 equals Rs. 1,94,100/-*.

Fees will be payable at the start of the program which includes boarding, tuition fee and lodging expenses.

  • Fee once paid to MaGE, shall not be returned or adjusted under any circumstance.

The program offers a guaranteed placement with Royal Sundaram on Graduation and on fulfilling employment conditions. Placement will be as Senior officer with a cost to company (CTC) of Rs. 3.6 Lakhs per annum + Performance based Incentive that can go upto Rs 1.4 Lakhs per annum.

Application & Admission Process



  1. Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) in any discipline from a government recognized university.
  2. Candidate must not be more than 25 years of age as on 31st March of the calendar year of application.
  3. Work experience is not necessary. If you are experienced, we prefer candidates with not more than 3 years of experience as on June 1,2019..
  4. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the selection process.

The candidate’s education qualification and background will be verified through an external agency. The details provided at the time of selection need to be authentic which are subject to verification. Once the agency confirms the authenticity of these details, only then will the candidate be considered for admission. Any misrepresentation of facts and/or documents will make a candidate ineligible for application, admission and prospective employment.

2nd Phase

Third Term – 2 months

Mentored Internship at Royal Sundaram branches.

Stipend – Rs. 6,000/month for 2 months

Final Term

Fourth Term – 6 months

On the Job Training (OJT) at Royal Sundaram branches.

Stipend – Rs. 16,000/month for 6 months
