Back in the year 2017, the Honda Dio received an all-new facelift. Besides a BS IV-complaint engine, the brand new model gets an array of updates and a fresh set of paints to boost its sporty aesthetics further.

 

The brand new cosmetic updates on the Honda Dio comprises of two white lamps that are placed seamlessly on the front apron. Honda Dio now comes with an LED strip on the handlebar to accelerate the look. On the rear section, you can now see a re-designed tail lamp. However, this lamp isn't LED. Dio now comes with a broader seat that makes it even more comfortable for both rider and the pillion. There is now a provision for a mobile charging unit that is placed under the seat which adds to the overall convenience. The fresh set of four dual-tone colour schemes with bold decals makes this scooter, eye-catchy! The Honda Dio also comes with an AHO or the auto headlamp on feature for added safety. The DLX variant of the Honda Dio is available in three colour variants and comes with semi-digital instrument cluster and an LED headlight. The same old 109cc single-cylinder engine drives the new options of Honda Dio. The engine now delivers 8bhp, 9Nm torque through an automatic transmission.

 

The brand new Dio rides on a bottom-linked front suspension and a monoshock in the rear. The set of wheels on the Dio are 10-inch, and the tyres are tubeless. The drum brakes at the front and the back now come with Honda's exclusive combi braking system.
