Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Review

The Maruti S-Cross is predicted to receive a new petrol engine version in 2019.

The prices of the S-Cross lie in the range of Rs 8.85 lakh-Rs 11.45 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). In recent times, Maruti Suzuki has discarded their 1.6-litre diesel engine & it is only available in the 1.3-litre diesel now. Moreover, the 1.3-litre diesel model now comes with Suzuki’s SHVS tech. The facelift of S-Cross delivers a 25.1kmpl mileage- an improvement of over 1.45kmpl. Ground clearance of the new S-Cross now reaches 137mm (laden), all thanks to its bigger set of wheels. The Maruti crossover - S-Cross comes loaded to the brim this time around! It received all-LED headlamps, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seats, leather upholstery, and an advanced 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity. However, it misses on the rear AC vents.

The new S-Cross is available in the market in four models – Zeta, Sigma, Alpha and Delta – same lineup as before but now refreshed and new! The brand-new features of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross include the dual-tone fabricated alloy wheels, DRLs with LED projector headlights, best-in-class tail lamps, a massive 6-speaker modernized touch screen information and entertainment system with up-to-date compatibility to Android Auto, door armrest in plush leather. This car also comes equipped with a smart hybrid auto start and stop switch for easy access. One can also enjoy features like keyless entry and go, automatic headlights, satellite-navigation system, electronic climate control, two front airbags, and anti-lock braking system with EBD and automatic wipers.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross RTO Registration

In India, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) is the authorized body accountable for keeping a check on each and every automobile running across in the country. There are numerous RTOs across India, and they deal with providing a wide range of services and registration of vehicles is one of them.

The RTO registration of a car is compulsory. It is a two-step process:

• Temporary RTO Registration Number in India

followed by

• Permanent Vehicle Registration Number in India

The documents required for vehicle registration are as follows:

• Active insurance certificate
• Registration fee
• PAN card copy
• Temporary registration issued by the dealer
