Tata Nexon Review
Tata first entrant in the sub-4 meter segment, the Tata Nexon is catching attention for valid reasons. What truly separates it is its hip design, a luxurious and a high on features cabin tech. The car is offered with the option of a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine or a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol or, both available with a 6-speed AMT or 6-speed manual transmission.
On the safety front, it received high acclaim when it scored 5 stars for safety in Global NCAP’s crash tests. It is the only car to make AMT versions available in both petrol and diesel variants.
Be it safety, comfort, functionality or style; the Tata Nexon is rated highly on all the scales. In comparison to its counterpart, Mahindra XUV300 and Vitara Brezza, the Nexon looks sleek as it is curvy in design.
On the comfort front, the Tata Nexon is as luxurious as it comes. The seats are designed in such a way that four passengers can seat themselves very comfortably.
Here are some benefits of buying a Tata Nexon:
- The car is fitted with Harman acoustics, and the sound is as precise as it comes.
- The features of the car are on the same level of other premium vehicles. However, the pricing is economical compared to them, which makes the Nexon an excellent value for money.
- In its price range, the Tata Nexon is one of the most luxurious brands.
- The Tata Nexon’s appearance is as distinct as it comes. No other car can mirror the way it looks.
Tata Nexon Registration
Just as any other car plying the Indian streets, getting your Tata Nexo registered at the RTO is imperative. The RTO is the Indian authority responsible for managing the database of vehicles across India. The RTOs are present across the nation.
Their responsibilities include clearing the pollution test, organising vehicle excise duty, issuance of driving licenses and much more.
However, one of their key services includes vehicle registration. The RTO is trying to make the vehicle registration process as smooth as possible by trying to implement online services.
Here is the list of documents a car owner will require to get the vehicle registered:
- Application form CMV20
- Temporary registration issued by the dealer
- Sale certificate of the car
- Temporary registration issued by the dealer
- Active insurance certificate
- Registration fee
- Valid address proof
- PAN card copy
- No Objection Certificate from RTO and Sales tax clearance certificate (if you are buying the vehicle in one state and registering it in another)
- Original invoice
Along with the documents, a buyer also needs to make a payment to RTO, depending on the car.
