ENGINE – The Etios Liva comes in both petrol and diesel engine variants with a 5-speed manual transmission standard across all variants.

 

The petrol variant has a 4-cylinder, 1.5L, 1496cc DOHC engine which generates a power of 88.76bhp and a max torque of 132Nm. An Electronic Fuel Injection system supplies fuel to the petrol engine.

 

With a 4-cylinder, 1.4L, 1364cc, SOHC D-4Dengine the diesel variant gives a power of 67.06bhp coupled with a max torque of 170Nm. The Direct Common Rail (DICOR) Injection system supplies fuel to the engine.

 

EXTERIOR – The Platinum Etios is a compact sedan marked by stylish and sharp appearance. It has a designer front grille, radiant headlamps, intermittent wipers, chrome-treated upper grille, black-colored lower grille with fog lamps. The Electronic ORVMs, bumpers, and door handles are body-colored, giving the sedan an elegant look.

 

The visual appeal is further enhanced by aero-fins, 12-spoke alloy wheels in full wheel caps, roof-mounted foldable antenna, chrome-accented boot, and triangular rear taillights.

 

INTERIOR – The elegant interior is marked by dual-tone design, silver-accented tri-spoke steering wheel, chrome-accented shift knob, wide seats, height adjustable front seat, and ample legroom and headroom. There are new rear bench fold seat and the sun visors for the front seat for added comfort.

 

Power windows further accentuate the interior with driver side auto-down, electric steering with tilt mechanism, a 12V power outlet, a tachometre, a digital tripmetre, rear defogger, front cabin lights, AC, heater, and clean air filter.

 

The infotainment is a remote-controlled audio-system with additional controls on the steering wheel. The boot has ample 595L space, and the storage is further enhanced by seven bottle holders, assist grip with coat hooks, and front and back door pockets.
