Toyota Innova Crysta Review and Features

ENGINE - The 2.7 petrol variant has a 4-cylinder, 2694cc engine which generates a power of 166PS and a max torque of 245Nm. The manual options come with a 5-speed transmission, while the Automatic versions have a 6-speed sequential shift transmission.

With a 4-cylinder and 2393cc, the 2.4L diesel engine gives a power of 150PS coupled with a max torque of 343Nm. The transmission is a 5-speed manual system.

The 2.8L diesel engine, with a four-cylinder 2755 cc displacement, produces a power of 174PS and a max torque of 360Nm. This engine has the 6-speed automatic sequential shift transmission system.

The Crysta features both eco and power drive modes across all variants.

The authorized ARAI mileage for petrol variants is 11-13 kmpl, and for the diesel variants is 13-15 kmpl, depending on the drive mode and transmission selected.

EXTERIOR – The exteriors feature a lower grille in chrome finish, automatic LED headlamps, chrome-finished electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear unique inverted lights, welcome lamps, and front fog lamps. 16-inch alloy wheels adorn the GX model, while the VX and ZX feature standard 17-inch alloy wheels.

The shark fin antenna and the integrated rear spoiler add to the overall aerodynamics.

INTERIOR - The Crysta has luxurious interiors with a standard Hazelnut brown and black dual combination, and an Ivory option for ZX MT/AT variants only. It features heat rejection glass on all corners, start/stop button, leather-wrapped wood-finish steering wheel, premium leather seats, wood-finish interior panels, upper glove box with cooling, and a USB charging port.

The spacious and comfortable interiors are accentuated by 8-way power adjust driver seat, one-touch tumble second-row seat, comfortable slide front passenger seat for added legroom, and a foldable seatback table with cup holder. The infotainment console is a touchscreen audio system with navigation and trip information.

SAFETY – The Crysta has front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes which are supported by an ABS, Vehicle Stability control and a high-impact absorbing body structure standard across all models. Three SRS airbags are standard across all variants with top-end ZX featuring additional front side and curtain airbags.
