Renewal FAQ's


It is important to renew your policy to ensure that you and your assets are protected continuously.

If you do not renew your insurance policy then you are no longer covered by the policy beyond the expiry date.

Your policy expiry date is indicated on your policy copy. In any case, renewal reminders will be sent out to your registered mobile number/e-mail address as an obligation.

  • In case of a Motor policy(Two-Wheeler, Car etc.), we will renew your policy post inspection with a break-in period for the period it was not covered, however, It is strongly recommended to approach us and renew your policy before 90 days after your policy expiry to continue to enjoy your NCB benefits.
  • In case of a non-motor policy(Health, home, personal accident etc.), you can still approach us for a renewal before 30 days after your policy expiry.

There are several ways by which one can renew their policy with us, we have listed them below-


  • Pay online - click here to renew your policy online with InstaRenew, our online renewal facility!


  • Pay by cheque - Mail your cheque to C/o Customer Services, Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited. Vishranthi Melaram Towers, No.2/319, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, (OMR) Karapakkam, Chennai-600 097.

If you do have any queries regarding the payment process, call us at 1860-425-0000 and renew over phone between 10.00am and 7.00pm

Your policy hard copy will be sent to your registered address within 15 working days from the time of your renewal*.

*Hard copy will be sent to the registered address, wherever the registered address is provided by the customer.
