Apache RTR 160 version 2 was launched by TVS Motors with mono-channel ABS. Apache RTR 160 is available in the market in the rear drum model and rear disc model. Dressed boldly in white with red stripes and blue designed with white stripes; both the colours look amazingly eye-catchy! You can find uber cool TVS logo placed on the fuel tank. The cowl of the engine now rocks a premium TVS Racing stickers, which look stunning. However, TVS Apache RTR continues to don a 159.7 cubic capacity engine, which is air-cooled that differentiates it from the normal model. It is paired with a 5-speed transmission. The power produced by this engine is worth complimenting as it produces over 15.1 PS at over 8000 rpm and over 13 Nm at 6500 rpm. Major competitors of TVS Apache RTR 160 are the Bajaj Pulsar 150, and Honda X-Blade. This is, however, a bike worth considering.

TVS Apache RTR 160 Review
In 2007, a well-known brand, TVS Motors, launched a series of sporty-looking motorcycles in India, known as 'Apache.' Apache 160cc was the first bike from that range which was launched in the Indian market. The full form of 'RTR' is 'Racing Throttle Response.' All the bikes belonging to the RTR series are designed with a racing approach. In the instrument cluster, the RTR bikes come with a lap timer. It also has a section for showing the last three 0-60 kmph timings to give it a track ride feel. To add to the benefits and uniqueness, Apache is the first motorcycle in India to rock a petal disc brake. A travel of 105mm is fitted to the front forks, and the back follows a two-shock approach rather than a monoshock.
