The online policies are in addition to Hospital Cash Online, Accident Shield Online, Home Shield Online and Home Content Online. These policies can be bought through the InstaBuy facility. Apart from buying new products, existing Royal Sundaram customers can renew their policies online through the InstaRenew facility.

The added benefit - policy documents are made available within 5 minutes of transaction completion through e-mail attachment as well as inside the customer's secure logged in section of the transaction website. Health Shield Online
Health insurance is one of the fastest growing insurance segments in the country and Royal Sundaram's Health Shield is a package specially designed to offer complete protection to the insured and his family. It provides cover to the spouse, children (above 90 days) and dependent parents (up to 45 years) from all health worries. Renewal is accepted up to 70 years.
With Health Shield, the insured will also have access to value-added services like cashless treatment (subject to conditions and authorisations) at a list of hospitals provided by Royal Sundaram, a 24-hour helpline and ambulance referral facility at no additional cost. Travel Shield Online
This is the reliable insurance plan that takes care of unexpected events during travel. Besides luggage, money, passport and tickets, it is the next most important item to accompany anyone on their trip. This insurance is available to persons between 19 years and 70 years at the commencement date of the policy for multi-trip option. It is also available to persons between 6 months and 70 years at the commencement date of the Policy for single-trip option. The maximum days in a year that the insured can stay for is 180 days.
Until return to India, Travel Shield guards the insured from unexpected incidents such as baggage delay, loss of baggage, flight delays, medical expenses and loss of travel documents, all under one convenient package, at an affordable price.
